Travel enriches
one's life, expanding and forever changing their world. John and Kathy Lang,
President and owner of Travel Tyme, quickly recognized the truth of these
words. John lived abroad for years and both he and Kathy have traveled
extensively. While they were aware of the many pitfalls and difficulties which
are often posed with travel, they were also well aware of the profound and
transformative aspect travel has had upon their lives and the lives of others.
Both John and Kathy have witnessed the profound impact tourism can have
in the development and improvement of one's lifestyle. Tourism not only
educates travelers in other cultures but also ennobles and empowers the living
standard of the local people. Travel is more than just sight seeing. It is
about immersing oneself into another's reality. Our world-view is challenged -
perceptions and biases are confronted. We are liberated from the ordinary and
invited to see the world and ourselves anew. We return home with a new
perspective on history, culture, people and more importantly ourselves.
